I had an incredible stay at the Grand Longere villa. the house, pool, and gardens were absolutely stunning. It had everything I could have wanted, and the outside seating area was perfect for enjoying the evenings and stargazing. the hosts were lovely and very accommodating. the property was not only elegant but also incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this villa for its facilities, comfort, and overall beauty. It was the perfect place for a relaxing week. there are plenty of family-friendly activities in the surrounding areas, such as canoeing, boat trips on the river, exploring caves, mazes.
Nothing bad to say 😊

The 15th-century house had so much charm and character, it felt like stepping into a time machine. The creaking floorboards in the bedrooms added a touch of nostalgia, making it feel like I was living in a real-life fairy tale castle.
Squeaky floorboards in rooms.

The rustic style of the accommodation was charming, with creaky floorboards that added character to the rooms. It felt like stepping back in time, but with modern amenities like a private bathroom and cable TV.
Noisy floorboards.

Spacious rooms with fresh bed linen every other day. Superb breakfasts featuring local delicacies and freshly baked treats. Fantastic hostess who goes above and beyond. Provided basic amenities like kettle, hairdryer, and toiletries. Lovely swimming pool and grounds, as well as comfortable lounges. The staff were lovely and handled difficult guests professionally. Beautiful location, excellent hosts, and close to attractions. Fabulous facilities including gardens, pool, BBQ, and pool table. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing, as it was close to several castles and a big cave. we loved the spacious room and comfortable beds. The hotel also had a lovely garden and a swimming pool, which were great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The French breakfast served was delicious and we enjoyed the traditional decoration of the hotel.
That some of the extras at the hotel were quite expensive. For example, a bottle of water cost 5 euros, which we found to be quite pricey.

We had the most incredible experience at a charming rustic-style villa in the beautiful Dordogne countryside. The warm welcome and delicious homemade meals made us feel like part of the family. The spacious rooms, with their period-style decor, offered a comfortable and relaxing stay. The stunning view of the countryside was simply breathtaking. We couldn't resist the delightful breakfast with homemade treats like cakes, pastries, and crepes. The villa's shabby-chic ambiance added to its charm. Despite a few minor issues like creaky floors and outdated interior, we couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. we highly recommend this delightful villa.
